TEM DESCRIPTION:
A wonderfully illustrated, 363 page, first edition book entitled The White Company. There are 13 full color plates by the listed artist, N.C. Wyeth. Gilt top edges and spine. Author is A.Conan Doyle, who is known for writing Sherlock Holmes. This book is a rare Association Copy, first printing by the Cosmopolitan Book Corporation in 1922. There is a bookplate which reads: This Book Belongs to C.A. Bonesteel, who owned a bookstore in Los Angeles from 1875. Doyle lived in San Francisco in the 1920s. We suspect that he gave this book to Bonesteel. There is an inscription ‘From Dad For Tick, Xmas 1922. We purchased the book in Orleans, MA. at an estate sale.
In very good condition with wear to the front cover which is starting to separate from the spine. All else clean, no marks, tears or folds. Cover corner bumps.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
