This … Read more Antique, silverplate, tea set/ coffee service, Greek Revival with Knight Head final by Silber and Fleming circa mid 1800s. This set includes coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and creamer. Each piece has etchings of Greek/Roman scenes with knights and a cartouche for putting a monogram and dimensional Greek dentil rims. The coffee pot and teapot are adorned with a knights head/ helmet finial. Absolutely stunning pieces in great condition.

Measurements approx: Coffee pot 12.5" tall x 6" handle to spout, teapot 10" x10", sugar bowl 8" x 8", creamer 8" x 4.5"

Makers Marks: On bottom of one of the pieces are the marks for Silber and Fleming. On the others are marks of a star, donkey (?) and another mark I can't quite make out. Must be the marks for Silber and Fleming since all of the pieces match.

This set is in good, antique condition especially for its age and use. May have typical signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, possible light bruises and dings, tarnish or polish residue. The inside of the pots are clean with some scratching to the bottom of the teapot. The coffee pot hinge may have been repaired (see photo). Please keep this in mind as I can't vouch for the repair or its longevity so it's purchased As-is. No other obvious damage. See less
