Boris Tabacoff is well known for his futuristic-looking pieces during the 1960s. These ‘Scimitar” chairs have been professionally reupholstered in a boucle fabric by Dedar Milano. The heavy chrome-plated steel moon-shaped base is typical of the designs of Boris Tabacoff. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
