his artist name is le diamantaire, originally from normandy, he has been gluing diamonds to the streets of the world for several years.
he has been making steel and mirror sculptures for galleries for almost 10 years.
what he wants to do with this project is to surprise and sometimes even deceive the viewer.
through this street art project, he wants to show that it is still possible to give and transform our waste into jewelry. We live in a material world where everything is disposable and the second chance is no longer an option, but it is possible to transform to sublimate.
"i always try to stay neutral in my work and let the viewer find his way\. It's like a parallel world where the viewer could dive\. And get lost. All my sculptures made of mirrors change all the time with time. The movement and their own environment is what makes them shine."
"watching my sculpture being built has always amazed me, from the computer at the very beginning to the moment i start dealing with the material. But the real fun comes when i look at the viewer looking at my creations and begin to touch it to understand its structure. I love playing with the viewer and i love this feeling i have, the power to create all my desires."
