Vintage Large Modernist Mushroom Cluster Clay Sculpture by Margot Kempe (German, 1898-1981), Signed on base. In very good condition with wear consistent with age. Please refer to photos for details. Last photo is taken in full sunlight. It takes on a more brownish hue when in natural lighting.

Margot Kempe was a German sculptor that fled from Germany during the Nazi occupation. She settled in Equador for nine years before moving to NYC.
