These items create color and texture in your interior and are a real talking point . They are made with cured feathers which are then dyed more than once to achieve the vibrant colors. The base is woven using rattan and then the feathers are tied in with cord. The hats take about 2-4 hours to make by skilled crafts people in a rural village about 4 hours from the Cameroonian capital Douma. Once made for high priests and chiefs the Juju or Bamileke hat now adorn walls as a contemporary interior accessory in homes, hotels, bars and offices around the world. Juju hat wall decor has become popular in modern, luxury homes around the world.
