Mid-Century mortar ashtry made in glazed bicolor ceramic in marbled red and yellow colors.
It was handcrafted by the french manufacture "Accolay", reknown for their variety and inventiveness in ceramics, but even better known for having designed and produced ceramic buttons for a Christian Dior collection during the 1940s.
This article has a sinuous shape and is equipped with a ceramic pestle.
Good vintage conditions.
