Spectacular Louis XV style mirror with hand painted porcelain plaques and gilded metal details. The frame is solid wood construction. The wood frame is 30" x 38". The top piece is adds an additional 11". The bevelled mirror is approximately 24" x 32". The frame is structurally sound. There are a few blemishes to the mirror manifested in the from of black spots and lines. The two largest are shown in the photos. A one inch long blemish is shown in the photos. There is another half inch long blemish that is not shown. There are four of five small black spots. The largest is shown. The flaws do not really detract from the beauty of the piece. Of course the mirror could be replaced at a nominal cost. Stamped "Made in Spain" on the rear. Age is estimated to be mid 20th century.
Note: This item will ship in two pieces with top piece separated from the mirror frame.
