This antique mid-1800s American jacquard coverlet made from natural indigo blue wool and un-dyed off-white cotton is hand-loomed in an intricate geometric pattern with fringe to one end. This coverlet most likely originates from New York or Pennsylvania. These wonderful handcrafted blankets are collectible heirlooms and incredible examples of traditional American craftsmanship. Beautiful on display or used as a bed cover as original intended.
