This piece has been hand-sealed and museum waxed by artist Michael Stallings. This was painted in the early 2000’s. Inspired by Persian Carpet Design.

This artist is known for his painstaking attention to detail One major thing that makes this piece unique is the subtle gradations in reds and yellows applied with water and brushwork throughout the sphere. There is slightly more balance between negative and positive space in this piece than others, and that leaves room for a warm passionate sense of experimentation and expressiveness.
