The design is exciting and unique, reminiscent of French Art Deco on the one hand, but also of the best Werkbund designs on the other, thanks to the clear lines of the body.
The sideboard stands on casters and is very easy to move. The glass top rests on eight hard rubber supports: although rubber has been known for centuries, as an eraser since 1770 and as vulcanized rubber since 1839, it was unusual in furniture construction at that time.
