This painting depicts the Hindu god riding in a chariot being pulled by a pair of horses led by a driver. Mounted under a double layer of silk matting, the painting is presented under glass in a gold tone and tan wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and a inscription reading “Bought in Calcutta, India Oct. 1968. Also bought the two colors of silk to have it matted” are present to verso. See less
