Māris Abiļevs (born 23 April 1956 in Kazakhstan) is a Latvian graphic artist and printer, brother of graphic artist Andris Abiļevs. He works in etching, lithography and various mixed media, for example he has developed his own form of color monotype. He has also painted, collaged and sculpted. He has been exhibiting since 1979. His most important solo exhibitions have taken place in Riga (1986 together with his brother Andris Abiljevs; 1991). He has participated in exhibitions not only in Latvia, but also in Japan, Germany, Denmark, Canada and the USA. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
