Mid century modern vintage organic stool made from woven rattan and solid wood. Attributed to Tony Paul and made in the United States 1950s.
Conical legs of solid wood support the wicker top. The piece has been painted white years and years ago and is starting to peak in a magnificent way. The stool could be stripped relatively easily however I wanted to keep the paint just incase due to the amount of time it would take to age like this again.
The stool legs are stable and are able to be screwed on and off to adjust. There is some slight cracking to some strands of wicker.
The stool is meant as a decorative item. Sitting on it could damage it due to the material and age. I’d
