Cardboard, oil, 50x39.5 cm Double portrait of a man and woman Vladimir Borisovich Glushenkov (May 21, 1948, Riga - December 26, 2009, Riga.) - painter, graphic artist, poet, translator. Born in Riga in a Russian-Polish-German family. Vladimir Glushenkov graduated from the Riga Applied School (sculpture class) and the Art Academy of Latvia with a degree in scenography (1976). Participated in exhibitions since the late 1960s. from 1976 to 1996 - set designer at Latvian Television. Designed performances in the Riga National, Art (Dailes) and post-Youth (under the chief director O. Shkatov) theaters, in the independent theater "Kabata", painted multi-meter street posters for the cinemas "Riga" and "Spartak", in the 70s - Illustrator of the magazine "Liesma". This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
