Two abstract hand-carved sculptures by the Dutch artist J. Metaho made in the 1970's. They are both composed in alternating sections of contrasting polished and textured stone. Sculpture No. 5 has a horizontal composition and No. 7 is based on a vertical bands.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
