Apinis. Contributor to exhibitions since 1962. A member of the artists' union of latvia as of 1967 and the b-13 association (1993 - 1998) since 1993. Personal exhibitions in riga, moscow, st. Petersburg, prague, bratislava, venice biennial, stockholm, portland (usa), tallinn (estonia), vilnius (lithuania), tbilisi (georgia), bremen (germany). Participation in international exhibition of graphic arts in krakow, ljubljana, friedrichstadt, bradford, tokyo, berlin, and tallinn. He won a honorary diploma at the 1st and 5th graphic art triennial in tallinn (1968, 1980). His works have been acquired by: "arsenals" art museum in riga, latvia artists' union of latvia, riga.
