Canvas, oil, 70x97 cm rolands krishjans (1966) in 1984 i finished j. Rozenthals art school in riga. In 1993 i graduated from latvian art academy with degree in monumental and decorative painting under the management of i. Zarins. I work in oil technique in different genres, the most common being landscape and marine art, flowers, portraits, city landscapes and figural composition. As a special genre i began my work on a number of works called “silent cities”. In these paintings special attention is paid to textures, colours and general mood. Other than that i have painted abstract paintings. Also i work on painting restoration and interior decoration. Exhibitions 1993- young artist exhibition in moscow, russia.
