Arnolds pankoks (born 1914.21.ix - 2008.) graduated art academy of latvia (1937 – 43, 1945 – 47) with diploma work "restoration of the daugava bank" by g. Eliass guidance. Artist was a teacher in liepaja school of applied arts (1947 – 50) and also worked in portrait workshop at combine “maksla”. A. Pankoks took part in exhibitions since 1949. Solo exhibitions was in riga (1968, 1975, 1980 – 87 (every year), 1990, 1994), sinole and mezotne (1976), sauriesi (1984), ainazi (1985, 1989), janmuiza (1986), ligatne and ikskile (1987), toronto, canada (1991). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
