The original cone shape has been modified with cutouts to resemble a cage. A glossy red bird sits on a yellow bead atop. The outside is black, inside white. An appropriate LED bulb is included.
This lamp hangs from a black, cloth covered plug-in cord with an on/off switch on the cord.

A ceiling hook is included.

My hanging lamps are slip cast in clay, glazed and fired with careful attention to detail at my studio in Seattle. The original shapes are created by hand using the coil and pinch technique. This gives them a softly dimpled surface that reflects light in a pleasing way. Raised white stripes are individually applied. Made by hand, they have unique character and lasting beauty.

The organic shape has a sophisticated "wabi-sabi" charm that is compatible with many home decor schemes.
Consider this lighting fixture over a kitchen island, bar or dining area. It could also hang over a bedside table or end table to give light for reading.
