The chairs have Kai Kristiansen's typical light and very elegant design that make them fit in easily where you want them in your home, a design that was so unique that his colleague the famous designer Hans J. Wegner characterized model 42 as beautiful from all angles when the chair was revealed in 1956. The chair's unique backrest swivel function allows the backrest to adjust and add even more to the comfortable seating experience.

The chairs have been restored and refinished by our cabinetmaker to ensure that they are in excellent condition with only few and minimal signs of age and use and will be reupholstered without extra cost in any "Kvadrat" fabric of your choice or from "Kvadrat" / standard leathers from "Sorensen Leather" or for additional price luxury leathers (Elegance, Vegetal, Rustic, Pure and Royal Nubuck) before they are shipped.
