Turner and Thomas Girtin found patronage, along with other members including John Linnell, John Sell Cotman, Peter de Wint, William Henry Hunt, Joshua Cristall and John Varley.The landscape is unidentified but on the verso is described as 'probably Surrey'.Provenance: Alexander Monro and by descent.All artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity and in some cases an accompanying text or artist biography. Signed: Inscribed with initials verso. Inscribed: Inscribed verso. Height: 34cm (13.4″) Width: 46cm (18.1″) Condition: In good condition for its age.The edges of the paper are cut irregularly, with the odd short tear to the margin outside the image.
