Sterling silver hollowware that was manufactured during the war was very understated and simple; a reflection of the time and vibe. This water pitcher is a product of that period. The simple lines and lack of decoration and etching; a somber reminder of the chaos all around. However it has a timeless, classic look that has withstood the test of time. Less is more and this piece is a great example. See less
