This rectangular box is beautifully crafted in Moroccan araar and decorated with a marquetry top using cedar, blackened lemon wood and beautiful mother of pearl inserts in a diagonal pattern. The rim of the box is trimmed with light walnut wood as well. Araar is part of the cedar family, therefore it has a fragrant smell as well as keeping the moths at bay. The outside is carefully French polished giving an extremely glossy look. It is also left in the raw state so the smell occurs every time you open it.

Araar only grows in Morocco, in the Atlas Mountains.
