This thickly layered, impasto style, vivid painting punctuates her rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades of purples, violets, pinks, and reds, with tones of black and white. It also features a bright, surprising and fun burst of florescent cadmium yellow and orange. "Arms Around a Memory" will add dimension and a punch of texture and color to any space.

Monica creates all of her work in her brightly lit studio along the banks of the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She is constantly inspired by nature and the changing of the seasons.

In 2022 she was inducted into the prestigious National Association of Women Artists. In 2019 she was named "Best Artist" in Westchester by Westchester magazine.
