The bronze part is signed C Cappello 1978 and is numbered 61/99
Carmello Cappello (1912-1996) is an Italian artist who began by sculpting decorations for Sicilian carts, his region of origin
Between studies and work, he proved himself with Ettore Colla (artist representing the Italian abstraction) and began his collaboration with Gio Ponti.
After his first exhibition in Rome in 1938, he will participate in several manufactures of artistic events such as the Biennale of Venice, the Quadriennale of Rome and the Triennale of Milan
