Splendid wooden wall cabinet attributed to the great designer Paolo Buffa in the 1950s, with Fontana Arte manufacture for the glass.
The cabinet has a base supported by 6 legs in Buffa's style, punched and quite thick, with an inverted triangular shape.
These legs support the rectangular base, made entirely of finely worked wood inlaid, in fact we see the zigzag pattern, typically Buffa. In this base are four small drawers with round brass handles, original of the period, for storing documents or objects. On the left side, at the same height, is a glass shelf, asymmetrically shaped, attached to the cabinet by a very elegant wooden frame.
The top of the base is made of a very elegant and shiny pink glass. On this top, between it and the structure above, 3 glass dividers have been created, positioned vertically, in order to create compartments for displaying some particular object.
Above rises the upper structure, composed of 4 doors: the two central ones open like windows, using a brass key, original of the time. The right-hand door also opens like a book, with a round brass key in original patina. The left door, on the other hand, has a trapezoidal shape, also carved in inlaid wood, and opens as a flap, using a brass key. Inside this door is a small bar, with a very elegant glass shelf.
On the far right are three bevelled glass shelves, cut according to the asymmetrical shape of the cabinet, which create three clean display spaces, very beautiful and elegant.
Both above and below these shelves are two tubular brass elements in patina, connecting the background (made of the same wood panel) to the sides of the cabinet itself.
The sideboard is suitable for bar areas or high-class studios. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
