This vintage 10x12 Persian rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s rare classic curations. Hand-knotted in wool, it originates circa 1940-1950.
Further on the Design:
This rug enjoys a regal medallion style in the most unusual teal colors on a rust red open field with beige accents. Keen eyes may admire similarities to Sivas and other provenances that favor such finely detailed medallions, though this rug’s provenance is open to debate.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century Persian rug hosts some distress with abrash and natural striae, but is in otherwise good condition.
