This iconic “Decora” table or desk lamp, also often called Model Z, was designed in 1956 by the famous architect and designer Louis Kalff and is produced by Philips. It is the predecessor of the Diplomat Z model. Philips label present on the brass plate on the lampshade.
The lamp is in a very good vintage condition and shows only very minor signs of usage according to its age (see photos).
The lamp has been tested and works fully. The lamp is astonishing with a silver coloured top mirror led bulb (not included).
Estimated period: ’50s-’60s.
