A vintage, beautifully detailed, heavy mixed silk sari from India. Measuring a long 184” x 43» the fabric can be … more A vintage, beautifully detailed, heavy mixed silk sari from India. Measuring a long 184” x 43» the fabric can be used as a festive table cloth, a fabulous throw on a large sofa or the fabric can be used to make a gorgeous curtain, window shade or a set of incredible pillows. The fabric is possibly reversible too although not meant to. The sari is woven in royal purple in the body, a dark green yarn in the end piece and borders and a metallic gold yarn giving it a contrasting and festive look. Like in most traditional saris, one side of the fabric has an end piece on a dark green ground with large Mughal architectural motifs. The border on one side does not run through the entire sari as is the case with many traditional saris. The overall design and pattern are reminiscent of ancient Moghul floral and architectural patterns. A very rare and exotic piece. less

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
