A graceful yellow pink Columbine flower blooms in a dynamic composition. This modern botanical painting by Allison Cosmos lets us appreciate the form and shape of the Columbine flower. Popping off the rich graphite charcoal gray background, the unusual yellow and pink petals make eye catching statement. The Columbine flower attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
Acrylic on canvas, this original 24″ X 30″ painting is signed by the artist. Stretched and ready to take to your favorite local framer, the artist created a set of 10 of these mountain wildflowers. Other flower paintings in this series include monkshood, fireweed, Indian paintbrush, pasque, prairie smoke, lupine, glacier lily, scarlet gilia and shooting star blooms.
