If you are looking for an antique rug without showing any wear please, DO NOT on this rug. I am offering it as is. Now, for those who are looking for such a thing. First of all, 6' x 9' size for genuine Herrez is a very rare size, for some reason there weren't that many made in this size, usually come in 7' x 10' or 7' x 11'. As you see, this rug has extensive wear but structure or foundation wise is pretty sturdy, does not have any see through area either any holes, Distressed pieces are a trend in today's market & due to the shortage some sheer down the mod age rugs down to the foundation then chemical wash it to make it so this & distressed. But this one is a true antique & does not need any of those. The mid age pieces with chemical wash do not leave that value when the trend is over but something like this, since it is an original always keeps the value because it easily could be restored to fix the worn area. It could be costly but is worth it because of the age, and being 6' x 9;', which is very difficult task to fine one. See less
