1990s Contemporary highest quality genuine black pebbled leather set consisting of a 3-person sofa and a 2-person loveseat. Each piece sits on Modernist brushed steel legs; a sleek, rich and luxurious set.

Roche bobois is the story of two families, the Roches and the Chouchans, not predestined to meet. In 1950, Jacques Roche purchased the old Alexandre Dumas theater on rue de Lyon and built two stores. His sons, Philippe and François, joined the company and together established the company's development strategy. They began to distribute the very best contemporary furniture, which was heavily inspired by Bauhaus designers, such as Minvielle, Steiner and Airbourne, and equally inspired by renowned designers such as Pierre Paulin and Marc Berthier. At this time, the Chouchans were selling furniture in Paris on Boulevard Sébastopol at "Au Beau Bois" (which later became Bobois).
In 1960, having become acquainted at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair, Philippe and François Roche joined forces with Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan to import Scandinavian furniture to Paris. Soon after, they added Scandinavian giftware, such as textiles, tableware and tapestries to their furniture ranges. Known as ‘complementary objects’, these accessories were sold in adjoining boutiques.
In 1970, Philippe Roche and colleagues meet designer Hans Hopfer while on a trip to Germany. The latter's design for a sofa that allows you to ‘live at ground level’, initially named ‘Lounge’, has, under its newer name ‘Mah Jong’, been Roche Bobois's best-selling sofa design since 1990. Working closely with renowned designers and artists such as Marcel Wanders, Kenzo Takada, Ora Ito, Sacha Lakic, Christophe Delcourt, Stephen Burks and Joana Vasconcelos and with Haute Couture fashion houses such as Kenzo Takada, Jean Paul Gaultier & Missoni, Roche Bobois offers a broad range of exclusive made-to-order designs, manufactured with a high level of customisation in small European workshops.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
