Beautiful and masterfully executed still life oil painting depicting grapes and fruit against a blue sky. This work is monogrammed and dated ‘88 (1888). It was received in the manner of Severin Roesen (1815-1872). There is no better example to present the chiaroscuro effect than in this still life. The original canvas, woven in Baltimore, has been early relined in the
traditional wax technique.

Condition is very good. The painting is housed in a wood gilt frame.
