The Profile Chair was designed by Bert England for Brueton in the 1970's and manufactured through the 1980's at which point it was discontinued. The chair frame is solid flat-bar stainless steel with a polished finish. These chairs were produced in the U>S> at the Brueton factory on Long Island.
Please see original 1970's tear sheet included with the photos of the chairs. These chairs have been reupholstered since originally manufactured and no longer have Brueton tags. Reupholstery was done by Interior Crafts, a high-end Chicago-area furniture manufacturer/upholsterer. The chairs currently have Interior Crafts labels.
Arm height listed below is at the mid-point of the curve. The lowest point of the arm pad is at 23" h and the top of the arm pad is 26"h.
