This is an oil stick and collage drawing on paper. The background color is slightly ocher and is best represented in the primary image. I've been interested in botanical drawings and I'm drawn to images that are not perfect in any way-- much like nature itself. The background paper on which the image is drawn includes two papers put together. The vertical line is purposeful and part of the overall image. There is a collaged paper in the upper section slightly left of the middle with the world 'c' on it -- indicating California, the place where I live and I love.
