Vintage pineapple table lamp with gold leaf and a gold foil lined black shade. This lamp appears to be made of wood with a layer of white gesso, then red lacquer paint, and finally the gold leaf. Gold bands on the shade were custom made to mimic the pineapple pattern. I don't know the maker, but I do know that this was an expensive lamp when purchased. It is heavy and can withstand a bad kitty.
