"MOON CLOUDS" - an immense, gorgeous, multi-media wall sculpture by C. Pettit, signed - 1995. Strands of naturally dyed wool meticulously wrapped around iron rods of varying sizes, alternate with hollow, cut out rods. Layer upon layer of flame/mountain/wave shaped copper sheets oxidized to create patches of deep iridescent colors.
Iron rods + copper + a huge wooden base = a VERY heavy piece
