Circa 1970. We offer this Antique Mexican Pitcher in Frog Shape attributed at Gorky Gonzalez, made in ceramic and hand painted.
About Gorky Gonzalez:
Founder and artistic director of Traditional Pottery began his studies with his father, the Mexican sculptor Rodolfo Gonzalez. Gorky's main interest during his 50-year career has been the rescue and preservation of the traditional technique of majolica pottery from Guanajuato, Mexico. This technique dates back to the 17th century and was culturally and historically important for the Guanajuato region, the Central Highlands of Mexico.
