moreThis miniature tea set was made in Limoges France and it was produced around the 1950's. This tea set was gilded with gold paint by hand and covered with a lovely transferware pattern featuring gold leaves, red roses, with blue and yellow meadow flower blossoms. This miniature tea set comes with 7 pieces including the serving tray, teapot, sugar bowl, two teacups, and two saucers the only missing piece of this set is the creamer. The serving tray measures 7 1/4" wide by 1/4" tall, the teacups are 2 3/8" wide with the handle by 1 1/4" tall, the saucers are 3 7/8" wide by 1/2" tall, the teapot is 3 1/4" wide with the spout by 3 1/2" tall, and the sugar bowl is 2" wide by 7/8" tall. This miniature tea set made in Limoges France is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the set for the age of it minor gilding loss only.
