Original collection of 19th century neapolitan gouache italian scene paintings
this is just a great original piece. I absolutely love these paintings. Typically I have come across a random one of these neapolitan gouache paintings or the occasional work by a member of the gianni family (check my store for one of those available for sale) but I have never come across a collection like this. This is a stunning group of 10 original mid to early 19th century gouache images of italy. Each painting is better than the next. The images measure 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches and are in excellent condition. Each one has a painted black border and is on a grey substrate. Below each image is a painted title of each work. Some really wonderful architectural views as well as landscapes and seascapes. Really stunning original works. Paintings are in excellent condition with great detail. Paintings are in a gold frame with die cut gold mattes. Just a wonderful presentation of these incredible works. Presentation looks to be early to mid 20th century. Frame measures 23 1/4 x 14 3/4 inches. Really a great group of early paintings. I have seen these paintings offered individually for hundreds of dollars. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
