Dwight Steininger (Indiana, 1910-1997)
Original oil on canvas, artist signed, lower right. Titled "The Majestic Arch of Summer" and dated 1966 on verso. Depicts a lake near Solvang, California. Mr. Steininger was a self-taught artist from Indiana who was known for landscape and still life painting. Listed artist with numerous auction records.
The work is set in a contemporary wood frame that measures 33" x 27".
The stretcher is 28" x 22".
