Presented to me as being from WWII. The stand shown is a marriage for this piece but because it’s wood is close in color it was a good match and makes this trunk more serviceable. The trunk is 12.5” deep and has a lock but no key. Would be stellar used for a liquor cabinet. The stand will fit the trunk vertical or horizontal. Measurements are given for the trunk with the stand sitting vertical. The trunk has brass fittings, brass handles on each side and a brass plaque on top. See less
