Arne Halvorsen Model 9 chair consists of lines and curves reminiscent of design elements used by Arne Vodder and Ib Kofod Larsen. Halvorsen was the first prize winner of the 1960 Industry Council for furniture and interior design's chair competition.

The solid teak frames and legs are in overall excellent shape showing only two cracks that have been fully repairs by our restoration team (which can be seen in the photos provided). Other than that there are only minor nicks and light surface scratches remaining with no gouges, deep scratches or stains whatsoever and the old-growth teak woodgrains are absolutely stunning in natural light. The original leather seats show some wear and patina from over the years but are all weight-bearing and free of tears, odors or rips. These exquisite dining chairs are incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use. Please view all photos for details on this set's current condition. less
