This vintage 2x7 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from mid-century Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Further on the Design:
This rug enjoys a dextrous geometric pattern in the most unusual, yet complementary teal and black colors on an ochre background. Keen eyes will further admire its impeccable detail, and how exemplary it is of Müren’s collectible designs. An exemplar of Müren's distinguished, yet livable works of versatile size and uncommon beauty so ahead of his time.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century design further enjoys only mild wear, and otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Connoisseurs will note how rare it is to find Müren's works in this ideal condition.
Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
