A highly detailed miniature portrait of a young man in a shadowbox. The portrait is set under glass, inside a gold-toned wood frame with a burgundy backdrop and a circular golden piece this miniature radiates with charisma. On the back, there is an envelope with a note on it which reads Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy as a youth.
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy born February 3, 1809 – 4 November 1847 (aged 38), widely known as Felix Mendelssohn, was a German composer, pianist, organist and conductor of the early Romantic period.
