Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One foot by nine inch repiled rewoven area close to a corner, as well as a fifteen by seven inch area to the corner, with multiple mends throughout. Width measured 8'3" on one end as opposed to the 8'8" cited in the listing, within normal margins for type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
