Large pair of 1950s Stilnovo opaline brass and glass sconces. Executed in brass with a sculptural three-sided opaline glass diffuser. An incomparably clean and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian lighting at its highest level.

Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by knowledgeable collectors.

Professionally rewired. Each lamp accommodates a single max 75w equivalent standard medium base LED bulb. Custom period-style brass backplates added for mounting over a standard U.S. j-box. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos. Both lamps in comparable condition but show some subtle difference. Minor patina, scrapes, scuffs, and bends as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. More images available upon request. Not UL Listed.
