It … Read more This important Louis XV mirror in golden wood, of oval shape has a wide openwork and fully carved frame.
It is adorned, on the edge of the periphery, eight relief patterns, composed of shells, acanthus leaves and scrolls, all arranged with regular spaces.
The interior gorges funds are meticulously chiselled.
We return outside the frame, identical, more discreet patterns, bringing a depth effect of field by superposition.
This property is provided with a posterior ice, it is also equipped with an iron ring as well as a cord, necessary for its installation.
Only being able to admire it in the room intended for it, this large bicentennial mirror is a reflection of the know -how of the 18th century.
