Important bronze with green patina, titled "departure" and signed on the terrace.
Victorien Tournier (1833-1910) French sculptor, specialist in neo-Gothic sculpture, is known to have decorated three emblematic places in Paris: Notre-Dame, the town hall and the Sacré-Coeur basilica.
"Departure" represents an ancient fighter, engaging in walking, bare feet, on a green heap.
The man is slightly dressed, the muscular chest, an animal skin covers his crotch and part of his buttocks.
He is about to take out a sword.
Long hair, floating in the wind.
Determination can be read in his gaze: he goes to combat.
Ode to beauty and male virility, this work will charm its buyer.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
